Fifth Wave of JACS Finds Openness to Marijuana Legalization, Gay Marriage in Region

The fifth wave of the Jefferson Area Community Survey, CSR's twice-yearly omnibus survey of adults in the greater Charlottesville region, finds that voters in our region are largely in favor of the legalization of marijuana and gay marriage.  A comparison of the JACS results to a recent Quinnipiac survey of voters statewide shows that the Charlottesville region is a blue enclave in a purple state.  See the attached files for more information.
